About

Location of Cry Baby Lane:

Take the Frankfort Exit off of I-64 then turn left at the light. Continue along this street. There is an empty car lot on the right hand side of the road. Turn left at the next light (this road is also Hanly Lane). Continue until you see the first street on the right again (Hanley Lane). Then, go all the way to the end of this road where there are a few houses and a trailer. The lane will curve to the right. This one-way road is known as “Crybaby Lane”.  There is a steep drop off on the right side of the road so exercise caution.

Some people claim that the real Cry Baby Bridge/Lane is off of Lebanon Road rather than Hanly Lane.

Interesting Facts about Cry Baby Lane:

In 2000, a Nickelodeon low-budget movie called Cry Baby Lane aired. It told the story of a farmer whose wife gave birth to conjoined twins. One of the twins was good and one was evil. When they died, the farmer sawed them in half and buried the evil twin in the backyard and the good twin in a cemetery nearby. Later, the main character in the film, Andrew, and his friend attempt a séance to conjure the good twin. They accidentally conjure the bad twin instead.

Ghosts of Cry Baby Lane:

Disembodied sounds of a baby crying have been reported.

Also, don't forget to check out the Shelbyville, KY Cry Baby Bridge or the nearby Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY.
