About Police Station Bell Tower

Location:

Located at 416 N. Harrison St.

History:

The current city hall buildings once served as the old police station. According to local legend, prisoners were once lead to their deaths in the bell tower where they were hung. No evidence has been found to support these claims of hangings in the bell tower, however.

Haunting:

According to some sources, it is possible to see the apparition of a hanging body in the first window of the bell tower if you look up from the eastern side of the police station at night.
