Dead Man’s Curve

There are a number of “Dead Man’s Curves” throughout the United States, but the one in Saraland, Alabama is located on a winding stretch known as Kali Oka Road. It is a sharp turn just south of the famous Cry Baby Bridge in the vicinity of Saraland, Alabama.

A number of fatalities have occurred at Dead Man’s Curve on Kali Oka Road in Saraland. Paranormal phenomena have been reported along the entirety of the road with specific haunted locations like Cry Baby Bridge, Oak Grove Plantation, and Mauville Cemetery punctuating the experience. The ghost of a large African man has specifically been reported walking along the road, searching for his infant son who was, according to some stories, drowned in the creek below Cry Baby Bridge.

Be cautious when visiting this location. According to a investigators who have personally visited Dead Man’s Curve in Saraland, the road is treacherous and the drivers fast and not particularly cautious. Be careful and drive with care on Kali Oka Road.
