One source claimed that you can find Cry Baby Bridge on Rogue's Hollow Road in Clinton, Ohio, which is close to Norton, Ohio. It is the bridge right next to Rogue's Hollow Park with the brown house, according to this particularly source. Apparently, the bridge can be difficult to find. Yet another source says that the Cry Baby Bridge is located near Doylestown, Ohio on Galehouse Road between Rogue Hollow Road and Hametown Road. The bridge, according to this source spans across Silver Creek. This bridge is only approachable from Hametown Road from October to May because the steeper part of the road is closed seasonally to prevent accidents. The Cry Baby Bridge is property of Rogue's Hollow historical society, which also owns the nearby Chidester Mill.

Some Norton and Clinton, Ohio locals claim that a woman got pregnant, had a baby, didn't want it and so threw it off the bridge now known as Cry Baby Bridge on Rogue's Hollow Road. Others claim that the woman was a witch and that she became pregnant with a married man's child. In this story, the community members decided to take the baby from the woman, but she killed it first by throwing it over the bridge.

There are a number of Cry Baby Bridges throughout the United States with similar stories, most of them involving a tragic event pertaining to a baby or young child and a mother who is searching for and/or grieving the loss of this child. Usually, people report hearing disembodied crying sounds along with the apparition of the bereaved mother at these locations.

Norton and Clinton, Ohio locals have reported seeing the apparition of a woman and disembodied sounds of a baby crying at the Cry Baby Bridge. This phenomena is said to occur most often at midnight.

Some visitors to Cry Baby Bridge have reported seeing shadow figures near the river. Some have reported that their car doors will lock on their own.

Some have reported being followed by a white “phantom” truck.

Some Norton and Clinton, Ohio locals have claimed that folks do satanic rituals in nearby fields.
