About Arcola Trail Bridge

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Arcola Trail Bridge

Arcola Trail Bridge 20 miles east of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota:

Take MN-95 between Stillwater and Taylors Falls, Minnesota to find Arcola Trail. The Trail is only about 4 miles long total, partially paved and partially a gravel road.

The Arcola Trail Bridge is known to locals as the “high bridge”. People warn that the bridge is not safe to walk over, so we recommend being cautious and wise when visiting this location. Some report that a woman recently fell to her death from the bridge while out with her boyfriend searching for ghosts. We have not yet verified whether this information is true or not, but either way, beware.

Ghosts and Hauntings of the Arcola Trail Bridge:

The Arcola Trail Bridge is a “White Lady” haunting. The apparition of a woman, dressed all in white, searches for lost husband near the Arcola Trail Bridge. A number of “White Lady” hauntings are described throughout the United States. Whether these stories represent folklore or actual hauntings that occur as a result of certain tragic events at these locations is hard to say.

There is also a legend concerning a blue light at the Arcola Trail Bridge. Blue lights are another common paranormal event described in a lot of places, including a number of bridges in the United States.
